PLAYER NOTES: --F Darrell Arthur had his second straight double-figure rebounding game, collecting a team-high 10 after getting 15 in the opening loss on Wednesday at Houston.
"This is fun being part of this as a rookie," Arthur said. "A lot of guys here are under the age of 25, so it's like being back in college again."
--G O.J. Mayo, the Grizzlies' first-round draft choice they obtained in a trade with Minnesota, scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds in his home debut. He was more under control and had better shot selection than in his first pro game at Houston.
--F Antoine Walker was inactive for the second straight game. It doesn't look like the Grizzlies plan to use the veteran forward anytime soon.
