Memphis Grizzlies Roster Report 2009-10-31

Memphis Grizzlies Roster Report 2009-10-31ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Conley, Shooting guard O.J. Mayo, Small forward Rudy Gay, Power forward Zach Randolph, Center Marc Gasol. Bench -- Guard Marcus Williams, Forward Stephen Hunter, Forward DeMarre Carroll, Guard Sam Young, Center Hamed Haddadi.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Zach Randolph had his first 30-point game for the Grizzlies, scoring 30 even and grabbing seven rebounds, six on the offensive boards.

"Zach's a beast on the glass," coach Lionel Hollins said. "When he gets it going like that, people around him feed off him. He's a true power forward. He's one of the reasons why we want to pound the ball inside and get to the free throw line."

--If not for persistent foul trouble, C Marc Gasol would have had his second straight double-double. Gasol finished with 19 points and seven rebounds.

--G Mike Conley, who looked tentative in Wednesday's season opening loss to the Pistons, came out of the gate on Friday and stayed aggressive with 10 points, 10 assists and six rebounds.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Allen Iverson is nursing a partial hamstring tear and missed all of the preseason and the season opener against Detroit. He practiced on Thursday but won't make his debut until game two of the team's five-game West Coast road swing that starts Sunday in Denver.

--F Darrell Arthur is out for four months after surgery to repair a partially torn pectoral muscle.
