Memphis Grizzlies Roster Report 2009-11-11

Memphis Grizzlies Roster Report 2009-11-11ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Conley, Shooting guard O.J. Mayo, Small forward Rudy Gay, Power forward Zach Randolph, Center Marc Gasol. Bench -- Center Hasheem Thabeet, Forward DeMarre Carroll, Guard Sam Young, Guard Marcus Williams, Center Hamed Haddadi, Forward Stephen Hunter.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Rudy Gay's streak of four 20-point games ended against Portland. Gay scored 12 points, had six turnovers, took just 11 shots and wore a look of disgust the entire night.

"It's frustrating not having a teammate," Gay said of Allen Iverson's absence. "But it's also frustrating not having Darrell Arthur. We'd like to have our whole team, but we're going to have to move on."

--G Mike Conley scored just seven points and appeared out of sorts. Allen Iverson's absence has hurt a thin bench rotation.

"It's tough when you have somebody in the rotation and you get used to it and then somebody goes out of the rotation," Conley said. "You have to get used to a whole different routine."

--F Zach Randolph is averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds for the fourth time in his career. He leads the NBA in offensive rebounding with five per game and grabbed eight in Tuesday's loss, as he had a double-double with 11 pointts and 12 rebounds.

"He's a beast," coach Lionel Hollins said.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--C Hasheem Thabeet fractured his jaw in the first quarter of Tuesday's loss to Portland.

--F Darrell Arthur is out for four months after surgery to repair a partially torn pectoral muscle.
