Memphis Grizzlies Roster Report 2008-04-01

Memphis Grizzlies Roster Report 2008-04-01
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Conley, shooting guard Mike Miller, small forward Rudy Gay, power forward Hakim Warrick, center Darko Milicic. Bench -- Point guard Kyle Lowry, shooting guard Juan Carlos Navarro, power forward Hakim Warrick, center Jason Collins, guard Javaris Crittenton, power forward Brian Cardinal, guard Casey Jacobsen.

PLAYER NOTES:

--Rudy Gay's 29 points boosted his case to become the third Grizzly in history to average at least 20 points per game in a season. Gay entered the game averaging 19.9 points. Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Pau Gasol are the only Grizzlies to average 20 points in a game.

--Kyle Lowry's 17 points off the bench was the fourth consecutive game he has scored in double figures. That's something Lowry hasn't done since he was in double figures in five straight games back in late January and early February. Lowry has scored in double figures in five of the last six games.

--Mike Miller has gone into one of his non-existent mini-funks, scoring just six points for the second consecutive game. The slump comes on the heels of a 10-game streak scoring in double figures, featuring a 34-point performance against the Knicks.
